Civil 3D allows you to add labels for pipes and structures in plan, profile views and cross-sections.

A surface is required before you start creating a pipe network.

Before you can create a profile view for a pipe network you have to create an alignment from a pipe network.

Note: This chapter assumes that the reader is familiar with COGO points from the CIVIL 3D ESSENTIALS − Cogo Points chapter.

To edit a pipe network, select any part of the pipe network and go to Pipe Networks ‒ Edit Pipe Network.

1. To write all the input values and analysis results to the pipe and structure properties tick the Update Results to C3D click Update to close the Pipe Manager.
