Devotech iDAS is powered by our modern cloud-based licensing platform, providing simplified license management, flexible deployment options, and seamless software activation.

Whether you need a license for a single engineer, a shared team environment, permanent ownership, or a subscription-based model, we offer a licensing option to suit your organization.

Perpetual Licensing​

A Perpetual License is a once-off software purchase that grants the right to use the licensed version of iDAS indefinitely.

This option is ideal for organizations that prefer capital expenditure (CAPEX) purchasing and want long-term ownership of their software investment. Optional annual maintenance can be added to provide access to software updates, new features, and technical support.

Rental Licensing​

A Rental License provides access to iDAS through a recurring subscription.

This option offers the lowest upfront cost while ensuring access to the latest software releases, enhancements, and support. Rental licensing is ideal for organizations that prefer operational expenditure (OPEX) budgeting and want maximum flexibility.

Standalone License​

A Standalone License is assigned to a specific user or computer and is intended for individual use.

This option is ideal for engineers who require dedicated access to iDAS and do not need to share licenses with other users. Standalone licenses are simple to deploy and manage and are suitable for both office and remote working environments.

Available only as Perpetual

Multi-User Cloud License​

A Multi-User Cloud License enables a pool of licenses to be shared dynamically across multiple users within an organization.

Licenses are managed through the cloud and automatically allocated when a user starts iDAS. When the software is closed, the license is returned to the pool and becomes available for another user. This allows organizations to maximize license utilization while reducing administration overhead.
