Instructions:
To create curb return polylines, a centerline alignment must have an offset alignment which is used to define the road width. If the centerline alignment has multiple offset alignments on one side, then the offset alignment with a bigger offset is used. Programmers are investigating an option to rather use the offset alignment with a smaller offset, because most of the time offset alignments are used for road edges, paved shoulders and unpaved shoulders. In those cases, the curb return polyline should use the alignment with the smallest offset.
The Devotech iDAS Corridor Wizard creates offset alignments automatically, see the Road Widening chapter (offset alignments are used for road width and road widening).
If different radii are required for each intersection side, use the curb return command twice using different radii and delete the polylines that aren't required. The second option is used to adjust the curb return radius with the Fillet command.

Result (curb return polylines are created on the current layer):
The curb return command will fail to create curb return polylines if the distance from the centerlines' crossing point to the start or to the end of the alignment is shorter than (20m + curb return radius):
The curb return command will create incorrect curb return polylines if an alignment contains a horizontal curve at the curb return location:
