Rotate North Arrow Command

Description:

Rotates a north arrow block in a layout to match the viewport rotation. It is useful when the dynamic link between the viewport and north arrow is broken.

Instructions:

To use this command, you will need to know the block name for the north arrow.

1. Select the north arrow in the layout space, open the AutoCAD Properties window and check the Name under Misc properties:

2. Run this command.

3. Specify the north arrow name and press Enter. The north arrow rotates in all the available layouts in the drawing.
