Corridor Plan Wizard Command

Splits the project into multiple drawings, it is used for long projects.

Instructions:

Firstly, prepare the Master Drawing properly, it must contain at least the following objects:

  1. Surface reference from data shortcut
  2. Horizontal alignment reference from data shortcut
  3. Vertical alignment reference from data shortcut
  4. Portion of the corridor (1km is sufficient)
  5. Layout with a complete title block. You can zoom to a plan and profile view to make sure everything is set correctly. The image below shows an example of a layout in the Master Drawing:

Viewports must have the correct scale and they must be unlocked. The viewport type does not need to be assigned.

It is useful to attach all the necessary XRefs and images. The master drawing should be ready for final printing.

The Corridor Plan Wizard takes the master drawing, saves it as a new drawing, adjusts the chainages for the corridor region according to a defined maximum corridor length (e.g. 1 km, 10 km etc.), rebuilds the corridor, assigns chainages to the profile view, zooms and rotates the plan viewport to corridor.

To open the Corridor Plan Wizard run the command.
