Point Array Command

Creates a COGO point array from a surface within a polyline's extents.

Instructions:

This command is often used in the mining industry. You can create points on a specified grid interval, and then export them to a point file or create tables etc.

1. To create a point array, first draw a closed polyline to specify the area in which you want to create the point array, then click on this command in the ribbon.

2. Select the surface from which to create the point array, and then select the boundary polyline.

3. Specify the grid spacing and click OK:

The small dots in the image below are the created COGO points. You can set the point style, label style etc. like any other COGO point.
