The yellow line in the print screens below represents an alignment. The following acronyms are used: BR – Beginning of Road, ER – End of Road, PI – Point of Intersection.

Alignment Curve Labels
Curve labels can use numbering from various resources:
- Alignment Segment Number
- Curve Group Index
- PI Index
Alignment Segment Number
Each alignment segment is automatically numbered during the alignment creation.

To renumber the segments, use the Alignments – Add Tables – Renumber Tags command:

Click on Settings to specify the starting numbers and increments:

Specify values for the Table Tag Renumbering:
Curve Group Index

To specify the Curve Group Index, select an alignment, right-click and use the Edit Alignment Geometry command from the menu:

Click on the Alignment Grid View command:

Right-click on any column heading and make sure that Curve Group Index is checked:

Specify the values for each curve (any string can be used) :
PI Index
This index is automatically assigned to PIs along the alignment. The starting number is 1 and the numbering increment is also 1. This is the quickest way to renumber PIs.
The curve labels display only PI or PI and radius if child label is used. The label tags are displayed only in the tables. All the labels look the same in plan (just the source of number changes):

Alignment Segment Tables (used for setting out data tables)
Segment tables display line, curve and spiral details. The table style name defines the typical label style which should be used for that specific table or typical usage, e.g. BCC PI ECC Label or Straight Alignment. Each table style supports only specific line labels, see details below.
