iDAS Template Updates (drawing template)
When the template is updated, a new version number is assigned. The number of template updates between new iDAS releases varies, therefore, only the most recent template version is released. For example, the template released with iDAS 12.4 has number 336, but the template version released with the following iDAS version 12.4 Update 1 is not 337 but 338 because there were two updates done on the template between the consecutive iDAS releases.
Below is a list of updates for each template version. We started to record these changes from the template version 339.

New pipe styles for ovoid pipes
The Sewer | Ovoid and Stormwater | Ovoid pipe styles were added to iDAS Civil 3D template:

Tshwane curb inlet styles with distance ruler adjustments
Tshwane curb inlet styles were modified to overcome the Civil 3D bug which caused the structure labels to be locked to their position (when the structure label was moved, it always reverted to its original position). This bug seems to be caused by the block object that does not form a closed boundary. Adding a double lane to the distance ruler solved the problem.

Fixed Kerb Inlets Part Size Name
Kerb Inlets in the Stormwater part list from RSA template had incorrect Part Size Name assigned. The correct Part Size Names are assigned now:
Kerb inlet styles adjustments
Various curb inlet styles were modified to overcome the Civil 3D bug which caused the structure labels to be locked to their position (when the structure label was moved, it always reverted to its original position). This bug seems to be caused by the block object that does not form a closed boundary. Moving the curb shape one millimetre up to overlap with the circle solved the problem (if the circle touched the curb shape at one-point, Civil 3D struggled to form a closed boundary).

Some structures had incorrect part size names in the Stormwater RSA part list. The sizes were reimported to fix this problem, however, older Civil 3D version (2020) are still displaying incorrect part size name. The newer Civil 3D versions (2024) are displaying correct part size name:

Note related to question marks in the profile views
A note was added to each pipe network profile view band set to assist users to remove question marks from some profile view bands (Distance, Ground Level, Hydraulics):
This note is in a separate band. It uses -20 mm offset to not have an impact on the plan production when longitudinal section height is calculated from the profile view height and profile view band set height:
These notes were not added to the Pipe | Sewer | NMBM styles because they were overlapping with the other profile view bands or caused the issue with the plan production:

New structure style for stormwater inlets
Added a new style for structure inlets that display boundary in plan and 3D Solid in profile:
The style that displays structure as solid in the profile view must be used for the structures that have some parts above structure rim elevation. If a style that displays boundary in the profile view is used, then the boundary is shifted down to be aligned with the rim elevation. In the example below, the boundary style is used in the top image and the solid style is used in the bottom image. Both images display the same structure:

They can be found in the Utilities part list but only one size was imported for each type as there is so many sizes available, therefore, users must import the correct sizes as per project needs.
