iDAS Templates Naming Convention

The template name consists of:

iDAS | Region | Civil 3D Version | Template Version | Information about part lists, e.g.:

iDAS ANZ 2020-334-with Part Lists

Region

The templates for the following regions are currently available, but both versions can be used in any other regions as soon as the styles are acceptable in those regions:

  • ANZ - Australia and New Zealand
  • RSA - Republic of South Africa

Civil 3D Version

Only the Civil 3D version number is used (2020, 2023) and not the release number (2020.3, 2023.2).

Template Version

Template development is an ongoing process and with each update a new version is created. New template versions are created between iDAS versions, therefore the template versions do not match with the iDAS release versions.

Part Lists

The part lists increase a drawing size and slow down the drawing opening time therefore for the drawings that do not contain pipe networks we suggest using the template without part lists.
