Polyline Elevations Command

Description:

Assigns elevations to polylines from the text which overlaps with the polyline or which is close to the polyline.

Instructions:

1. Run the command.

2. Specify whether you want to assign elevations to single or multiple polylines:

3. Specify the source contour layer:

4. Specify the source text elevation layer:

5. Specify the processed contour elevation layer (if a contour does not have a text to assign the elevation from, it will not be processed, users will visually see which contours were not processed):

6. Specify the distance tolerance in meters (the text does not need to overlap with a polyline, it should just be close to a polyline within the tolerance distance):

The processed polylines are displayed in magenta in the image below (some polylines were not processed because the distance tolerance was set too small):
